Girly is a beautiful, sweet, cuddly and sensitive Pup. Do you want someone to go on a quick sprint with? Perhaps a detective to go hunting for a treat? Or maybe even a snuggle buddy for Netflix binge watching sessions? Then Girly is your gal!
Girly is estimated to be a 5 year old mildly energetic lady who enjoys the thrill of the hunt and outdoors, just as much as she loves curling up on a couch or sunbathing on a patio. Her favorite things to do are car rides and quiet, long walks outdoors. She also seems to be up for a challenge as long as she can explore in a quiet place. This gal has no time for noisy environments!
While at home, Girly is one of the calmest and sweetest pups ever. She is house trained and will hide in embarrassment if she has an accident (which is RARE!). She loves being next to her human whether hanging on the couch, belly up sometimes for non-stop rubs before falling asleep with snores that can get quite loud; or, in the kitchen with puppy-dog eyes begging for treats (peanut butter, cheddar cheese and vanilla ice-cream are her favorites!).
Girly seemed to have had significant emotional trauma in her past life which makes her very anxious, fearful and a little unsure of herself sometimes. It takes her a long time to warm up to people and other dogs, and she will often have some reactions stemming from her fears, and she would love a patient human who can give her the time and patience to warm up. With continued patient training and a gentle and calming owner, she will blossom into a pleasant doggie who can be around a lot of people and other dogs.
This lady is a quiet and mature doggie who is quite content receiving attention from her human rather than chasing after a ball or frisbee. However, she does love a nice run, and doing a good zoomie. She will also hunt for her treats in grass or other toys, and will chew her rope to settle down when she's anxious.
Girly's ideal home will be a low-traffic and quiet environment with access to a sizable fenced-yard where she can run around safely at her leisure. Ideally, she would have two humans in the home who can provide her with double the attention she craves. She would also prefer an adult-only home because sometimes kids can be too rambunctious for her. She also would do best as the sole pet in the home. However, she could learn to thrive with another more confident and calmer dog who could give her little peer-to-peer therapy in self-confidence.
Come meet this beautiful and cuddly young lady!
