If your dog would like to become a very well-regarded teacher, have him come meet Hippocampus. Now in foster care, this happy, gentle boy knows to take his cues from his doggie housemate. His canine buddy tells him when it's playtime, and has taught him to prefer bones and rawhide over toys. Oh boy! he says. Let's play!

This super affectionate pup has lots of love and kisses to give, and he's happy to give them to all humans. He's excited to meet everyone, whether he knows them or not. He'll cuddle with them all day long, hanging out on the couch. He's a calm lad who likes going for walks where he can sniff at those silly squirrels and cats. Then, he'll chill out back home where he's learned to sit for treats. He is also mostly housetrained, and with continued training, he will become the perfect housemate.

This sociable boy would love a home where he can always be engaged with his people - and also with a doggy housemate. He has a mild case of heartworm, but all that means is that he'll need a couple of months of rest during treatment, at APA!'s expense and then he'll be good to frolic again. Come meet Hippocampus, he'll give you a paw and a kiss!
