Griffin is a lovable velveteen rabbit of a dog who just wants to rest his gray-whiskered face in your hand. He's a breeze without any of the behaviors common in younger pets; He is good at being home alone, doesn't bark, and doesn't chew or knock over the garbage can.

He loves following his foster around the house, especially into the kitchen, where he begs for treats. His eye gets very expressive when you are feeding him - his favorite food being the American cheese his pills are wrapped in. He's still got enough spring in his step to do an adorable happy dance for his meals.

Griffin is recovering from having eye-removal surgery which just makes him more distinguished and adorable looking! He loves snoozing on any cool surfaces and has a cute little snore. Griffin seems to not see 100% and will occasionally (and comically) walk into chairs or screen doors. He also might be a bit hard-of-hearing. He likes to rise early for his first bathroom break of the morning, and appreciates soft food mixed with his kibble to help his older teeth.

Don't let his nap schedule fool you, he's great on a leash and loves taking evening or morning strolls with you. He's a good walker, isn't distracted or bothered by other dogs, and doesn't pull except to occasionally sniff something really delicious. He gets along well with his bossy corgi foster sibling and respects her boundaries. He hasn't yet met a cat or small child (that his foster knows of) but doesn't jump up on people or other dogs.

Are you the right person to give this gentle senior boy a comfy home? Come meet him!
