Introducing Los Angeles, a handsome four-year-old male pit bull terrier mix. Los Angeles should've been named Hollywood for his movie star good looks! Los Angeles walks well on a leash and is being introduced to his crate where he will walk in and out freely, and take his meals in his crate. Los Angeles knows his basic commands such as "sit, "down, "place, "stay, and is working on learning new commands.

Los Angeles is fine being left on his own and will greet you happily when you return from running your errands. He is very affectionate, and will happily curl up on you like a weighted blanket. Los Angeles is very relaxed, and likes to be close to his humans, and have his face rubbed. He'll definitely let you know when he wants his pats and hugs! He'll also let you know when he wants to play his favorite game of fetch, which he can play for hours. He loves to de-squeak his toys and plays tug-of-war for fun. He is crazy for the hose and likes to splash in the water. Los Angeles has an amazing gazelle-like run, and does a four-foot bunny-hop jump when he runs around the yard. He's so silly!

Los Angeles is easy-going and would fit well with most homes. He doesn't seem to mind being left on his own, but would prefer the company of his humans. Los Angeles is also a TOP (Total Obedience Program) dog trainee at APA!. Check out a video on APA's CGC program, on which the TOP was based: https://vimeo.com/89434193.

You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
