Are you looking for some fur baby love morning, noon and night? Leche will provide endless love, kisses and cuddles whenever you let him. Leche is a wonderful companion who will follow you from room to room, but also sleep on the couch all day and let you work. He loves the sunshine, and you can almost always find him laying out in the sunshine taking a nap. Leche loves his chew toys--kongs, textured bones and ropes. When he's not napping, or cuddling, you will definitely find him chewing on one of his toys!

Leche is crate and house trained. He will happily go into the crate to follow a treat, and is perfectly fine sleeping overnight, or for longer outings. He is getting much better with the commands "sit," "stay," "leave it," "down," and "look". Leche is a pup that prefers to be the center of attention, so it's best if he is the solo four legged friend in the house. Leche will do just about anything for a small piece of cheese, which are very helpful to have on walks.

Leche is unsure about new people/animals/situations, so slow introductions work best. A house with a fenced in yard, or an apartment with a balcony will work best, as he is comfortable and happiest outdoors. Leche is heartworm positive, but all that means is he will need a couple months rest at APA!'s expense. But that is no problem as Leche loves to be on the couch cuddling in your lap.

Leche is warm and loving, and will never make you doubt his love for you. He will always greet you with a smile, and excited dance, and all the KISSES. He is loyal and affectionate, and will be the best companion for anyone who will have him. Will you give Leche his fur-ever home? Come meet Leche today!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
