Sausage is a playful guy with the sweetest eyes. He can't wait to meet his humans and love them with all his heart! Sausage is full of spunky energy, and he will gladly chase all those pesky squirrels right out of the yard. (You're welcome!) He does well in his crate and is working his cute heiny off to learn "sit", "touch", and "wait" at the door. He's quite the little smarty pants!

Sausage adores his humans, and would love to be the light of your life. New adventures make him a bit nervous, but he knows he can do anything if his bestie is by his side. He definitely gains confidence when he knows he can hide behind your leg to get a lay of the land first.

"Let's go outside!" is Sausage's mantra! It's also hard for him to pick his favorite toy...it's a true toss up between his tennis balls, sticks, kong...chew toys. They're all awesome to this cutie! He could truly entertain himself with a stick for hours. For all his adorable energy, this sausage can sure snooze. He happily sleeps all night in his crate and can nap with the best of 'em!

Sausage's dream home would be a quiet place with low foot traffic, and he would prefer to be your only four legged pal. He would be thrilled to have a yard where he can run and frolic in, since getting out his energy in a yard is preferable to going on walks. This precious, shy fellow can't wait to meet his forever person. With a loving home his confidence will truly blossom, and he deserves to be adored. Come meet Sausage!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
