Sam I Am is the sweetest young dog in the history of the furrrrrry world. What are his favorite things? Good question - pets pets pets! He will walk up to strangers on a walk and ask for pets in the most polite way, wagging his tail the whole time. His favorite thing to do is invade your personal space and ask for a head scratch. Give him a scratch and he will be your best friend forever!

He loves to go for walks, play with his toys, eat peanut butter with treats (!!!), and meet new people. He can be a little shy at first. He seems like he would be great with dogs and kids - he is the most mild-tempered pup and wants everyone to be his friend. He knows how to sit, sleep in his crate, and walk on a leash. He still needs a bit of training on going potty, but he is working on it!

Overall, Sam I Am is warm, loving, and loyal. This adorable pup is the most gentle furry soul. He rarely barks, and is often fairly calm, although receiving pets make him so excited! Sam I Am wants to show you how good he is. Come meet Sam I Am, and give him a scratch so he can follow you home!!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
