Meet Broomstick, a sweet and cuddly pup who wants to be your furever buddy! Broomstick is a 9 month old lab mix who loves people and cuddles. Her favorite hangout spot is in your lap, or by your side. She has a big heart that she wants to share and show off!

Broomstick has a strong personality and sometimes can be stubborn (aren't we all?!), but she makes up for it when she throws herself on your lap with her big puppy eyes. She is still working on her house training and crate training skills, but with time and continued training, she'll catch on! Once she's inside her crate, she settles down, and is okay to be left alone for long periods of time. Broomstick is a fast learner, and has already conquered her fear of stairs after two days! She's a smart girl who just wants to do things on her own time.

While Broomstick LOVES people, she can be a little timid with other dogs and cats. She tends to get nervous in new environments, but with enough encouragement and reassurance, she adjusts quickly. After a few days in her foster home, she has become much more playful and even tries to chase squirrels!

Broomstick would thrive in a home where she can spend tons of time cuddling and getting attention. She loves people and cuddles more than anything!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
