Cookie, cookie cookie - do you love cookies? Then come meet Cookie Monster! He is a crazy smart pup who loves affection, cuddles, and other canine playmates. He has done very well with his current foster friend, and they are excellent playmates during the day. He is a pup who is happy to share his toys - how great is that! He is also a super cuddler, and loves to be near his humans when they are chilling out.

Cookie could potentially be an excellent exercise dog, and he would love a home where he can be active a good amount of the day. He has done well with teenagers, and could potentially do great with smaller children. He has also done well with the cat in his foster family. He is definitely interested in learning more about the feline persuasion.

Cookie is good at settling in when his humans are away on their pesky errands. He might whine at first, but he will stop after a short period. His foster family has been crate training him, and he's doing better. He has also made huge strides in his potty training, and has been going to the door when it's that time of day.

Cookie has been learning his leash training and would love a family to continue with his leash manners. He has also been quickly learning the crate, and is doing well with settling in quickly. He is generally very well behaved, but needs some additional training when it comes to human food. He has been working really hard, and is doing much better. He can be a little timid when he first meets new people, but he warms up quickly.

If you are looking for that adorable Cookie Monster to cuddle with, then come meet this sweet boy and let him steal your cookies!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
