Introducing Stevie Wonder, a gentle, housebroken Labrador Retriever mix. Stevie Wonder, like his namesake, is blind, but that doesn't stop him from living a full life with lots of activity. Stevie is fine with other dogs and cats, and will fit into a home with other animals.

Stevie does well when he is alone in the house. He simply takes his spot on his bed, near his toys and water, while he waits for you to come back from running your errands. Stevie, being blind, is careful where he walks in the house and prefers carpets to hard-surface floors.

Stevie walks on a leash, but is a little skittish since he can't see where he's going and will need encouragement on his walks. Stevie loves being outside which is where his playfulness shines. He enjoys rolling in the grass. Once his feet touch the grass he is rolling around with joy, and he would do well in a home with a backyard that he can explore.

Stevie is very mellow and well-mannered. He enjoys play time with other pets, but is not someone who needs a lot of attention. He likes belly rubs and scratches, and is very affectionate. He also loves a good chew toy, and a yummy treat.

Stevie would do best in a home without stairs and with carpeting. A fenced-in backyard would be his dream! He does well alone, but would likely also do well with another furry companion to play with. As Stevie will take some time to adjust to his new surroundings, he would ideally love a pet-parent who has experience with blind dogs, or who has the patience to allow him to settle in.

Are you the one who can give Stevie a safe home with lots of grass? Then come meet Stevie today!
