Dodge is the sweetest, gentlest, and calmest dog inside the home. He loves affection and to cuddle every day. He's also mastered the art of being a good nap buddy. He enjoys being petted, and will sit there and let you pet him for a long time. When working from home, he's quiet and keeps to himself for most of the day. He's often sleeping and is very calm in the household. He's more of a couch potato that enjoys playing with his Kong toy or chewing on a bone. Sometimes he's really quiet in the house and his foster will wonder where he is and what he's doing. Then you'll find him lying on the carpet half asleep, and he'll look up at you like, "What's up? Did you need something?" And his foster will say, "No, just checking on you."

Dodge is really good when left alone. He's left unattended outside of the kennel for extended periods of time and he'll quietly hang out. He's also a house-trained boy who has had no accidents inside the home, and he always does his business outside. He knows "sit and "paw really well. He is currently working on "down and "stay. He likes treats though so it should be easier to teach him!

Dodge can react to new dogs, and he would need very slow introductions with any pups. He walks well on a leash until he sees other dogs, but he's ok with small walks around the block. An ideal home is a low traffic home where he is the solo pup, and with a person who can handle him on a leash and work with him on his leash training skills. Dodge is a beautiful, low maintenance pup who is always happy to see you whenever you come home. Come meet this sweet boy!
