It's Award Season, and the 'Cutest Ears Ever' Award has been given to this adorable pup, Patrick. He is also nominated for sweetest and most loving canine in the land! He is super affectionate, and will gently nudge you with his nose to let you know it's petting time. Patrick is playful but also has a perfect level of energy that is active and fun outside, but more mellow and chill inside the house. He likes toys, but has a short attention span with them and moves on quickly. What he really loves is walks, if only for the smells. He loves sniffing everything!

Patrick is a resilient pup who was recently hit by a car, and he received injuries to his back legs. He is able to walk, but is still recovering, and will need a kind and patient family to help him heal and work with him on leash training. He has a slight limp and his right hind leg will sometimes slip out from under him, but he still loves getting outside for walks (and sniffs). Patrick would do best with an adult-only household so that he can rest up and get busy being your new best friend! He would also get along well with another gentle dog so if you already have one, no problem.

While Patrick is concentrating on his recovery, he hasn't had time to learn any tricks, but he can't wait for you to teach him when he's healed. Patrick is fully house-trained and will even let you know when he needs to go outside. He is a little shy and nervous around new people and cars and will need some support and patience to ease his fears. He will also need some assistance with crate training but is looking forward to getting more comfortable with them.

Patrick is a great dog that is just looking for somebody to give him a chance. With just a little tender, loving care, he'll repay you with years of doggy snuggles and fun memories. Come meet this handsome pup today!
