If you are looking for a pup who can give you lots of fun and so much to laugh about - and be your cuddle bunny, Dezi is your girl! She can be a completely goofy and active girl, hilarious at playing tug-o-war. And then she'll want to come inside and become a couch potato.

Dezi's foster parents say she is a loving and obedient girl who wants to sit next to them on the couch or on their laps. She also loves taking a 10-15-minute leash walk every day and then comes home to play with a toy in the backyard or chew it indoors before snoozing on the couch.

She is a very smart girl who understands so many words: Sit, paw, lay down, roll over, heel, release, bed, crate, bath, walk, and mailbox. She is house-trained and quickly obeys when asked to go to her crate. During calm times, she enjoys it, taking naps and chewing toys. If new people are visiting, she may chew her bed. She also free roams and does well when her fosters are away.

Dezi can be nervous when meeting new people and can have different reactions to dogs she sees or meets, sometimes anxious with those who come close on walks or want to steal her toys. She is playful with her fosters' cat, quickly adjusting to cats who are okay with her.

Dexi will love a family who can offer her lots of attention and affection and can continue her training. She will do best in a low-traffic home that doesn't have visiting guests very often. And she'll prefer a quiet yard that does not have barking neighboring dogs. Come offer her a couch and she'll follow you home!
