Resolutions is a sweet and spirited girl with an outgoing personality. She is always on the lookout for new friends. She will wag her tail and greet her neighbors and their dogs when she is cruising her foster's neighborhood. If they don't immediately notice her, she will let out a few, high-pitched yelps to grab their attention and make sure they don't slip past her without saying hello!

She has a lot of puppy curiosity and can make anything a game. She entertains herself and her foster parent by tossing her own toys in the air or nudging her ball down the hallway with her nose. She also likes to "hide" her treats from herself, only to be delighted later when she rediscovers them in the couch cushions.

She knows the commands for "sit" and "down", and she is currently working on "stay" - which is hard for her given her independent nature. She is house trained and crate trained and can hold it through the night with no accidents.

Resolutions is an intelligent and sweet pup who would thrive in a home with an experienced dog owner who can exercise her a few times a day and continue her training. She wants all of your hugs and kisses for herself, so a kid-free and pet-free environment would be best for her. Come meet her, and if you bend down to greet her, this little one will try to sneak some kisses from you!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
