Frost (who answers to "Sage") is such a lover! She is also really smart and athletic without being super needy. When she first went to her foster home, her foster would rub her pregnant belly or sit on the floor and she would crawl into her lap. When her foster walks into a room her tail starts wagging vigorously. Even though her whelping room is a bathroom with the door shut to keep her separate from the other animals (in preparation for birth), she never whimpered or barked or scratched at the door. She is very accepting of new environments and anyone who wants to rub her belly, once she is comfortable with them.

Frost has gone on walks now that her puppies are old enough, and she is very observant and interested in the world. She could do well on runs. Even when she was hours away from birth she wanted to run. She pulls a bit when she wants to go home, but responds well to correction, and with a little more practice, she will be a pro on the leash. I think her ideal home would be one where she is the solo animal in the home, or one where other animals are very calm patient as she warms up to them.

Frost can get jealous, and gives the saddest puppy dog eyes, but she doesn't bark or paw at her humans. She is very trainable and is ready to please. She is a bit nervous when first meeting any new human or animal and may bark until she feels more comfortable, but a few pets on the head and comforting, "It's ok" - calms her down almost instantly. Come meet this sweet lady, she'd love to show you her puppy dog eyes.
Come meet your new best friend
