If you meet Moonbeam in an elevator, she would want to sniff you, but that's okay because this very polite lady is just over the moon to meet you, and is very respectful. And if strangers come to her foster home, she's very welcoming and wants them to pet her. She really loves humans and their affection!

This sweet, calm girl's perfect day starts with hugs and kisses from her people. Then she plays with her little squirrel or raccoon squeaky toy, relaxes in the morning sun and eats breakfast. Afterward, she's happy to go for a walk on Lady Bird Trail, going off leash to sniff the creek. She may lunge at a squirrel, but is easily distracted from it. The rest of her day alternates between snoozing and coming to rest her paws on her human to get petting - her way of giving hugs. And she'll roll over to get belly petting.

She sees a variety of dogs on her walks and can get a little excited and want to play with them, but never too much. And she's very sweet to kids she sees. At home, this fast learner is easy to train and already understands "sit" and "stay." She's also house-trained and is happy to sleep nicely when she's home alone. She also stays on the floor, never getting on furniture.

Moonbeam will love a home with people to paw and laps to cuddle in. Come meet her, she'll give you a sniff and follow you home.

Come meet your new best friend
