Watching Sidney come out of his shell is like watching a flower bloom. With each new day he is blossoming into a "normal" and happy doggy. We are not sure where Sidney has been in his past travels but we do know that he is a shy and sensitive boy that needs time to get acquainted with new people, new dogs, and new environments. Once comfortable, Sidney is an energetic and fun-loving boy that loves to run around and play with his doggy and human buddies. When he deems you as a trusted person, snuggles and cuddles are a vital activity on his to-do list. For real, he gives the best hugs ever!

Here at the shelter Sidney is learning how to be a good boy. For instance, he is getting an education on how to play with other doggies. Being a young and vibrant pup, he can sometimes be a bit pushy or too rowdy. However, during his time here at the shelter he has successfully made several wonderful friendships with the other small dogs. He feels much more secure and brave when he has a dog friend to show him the ropes and he would likely thrive in a home where he has a dog buddy to play with and shadow.

He is also working on how to chillax when left alone. You see, he will sometimes cry for his humans when they leave him. :( He may do best in a home where he has more space away from your neighbors. We are currently working on the standard good dog things like potty training and how to walk on a leash as well.

Please inquire if you think Sidney could be your sidekick!
