Royal is such an affectionate, active, and energetic girl who is still learning about doggie and house manners. This gorgeous lass, with her soulful eyes, would love a home with humans who can provide dedicated training on how to be a polite pup. If you're looking for a tug-o-war playmate, she's happy to oblige! She loves playing tug-o-war and then celebrates by chasing her tail in a circle. And she may want to jump on top of you, hoping for the affection, petting and cuddles she loves.

This lively lady's foster is working with her to improve her leash walking and become a quieter pup. She can be a leash tugger and a barker when she sees other people and dogs, especially if she feels they are overly eager. At home, Royal does very well in her crate, going in when told to and doing well there when her foster is away. And she's been house-trained in her crate.

Royal will love to be the only pet in a home in a low-traffic area with adult-only parents who would ideally be dedicated to helping train her to become a polite pup. Come meet your soon-to-be favorite playmate, her eyes will melt your heart!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
