When Ivory wants your attention and affection (which will be always), she'll come paw gently at your feet. This silly, lovable girl will be so excited to see you, and will hope for lots of petting and cuddling on the couch.

Ivory is a little shy when she first meets people, but she warms up to them very quickly. She's always excited to see her new friends, but she's very polite and greets them very nicely. Now in foster care, she's having fun playing with her two doggie housemates and doing zoomies and prancing in the backyard. Plus, she likes her toys and she's making good progress on her house-training. She knows to go outside, but has occasional accidents near the door if she hasn't been let out often enough. She doesn't like being crated, but does well freely roaming the house and happy to snooze in her dog bed or on the couch when home alone.

She's a gentle, playful girl who has a medical condition which causes some imbalance, uncoordinated gait and unsteadiness on slick surfaces. But she has gotten more comfortable walking on slickness, and she's a curious girl who loves going for walks and leash walks very well, never pulling. She also is heartworm positive, but all that means is that she'll need a couple of months of rest during treatment, at APA!'s expense.

Ivory hopes for a home with parents who are home most of the time. She'll be happy as the only pet, but would be happy to share it with a dog buddy. She's just a big lover who wants someone to love her back. More photos and videos of her are on Instagram: @julesfoko.
