Introducing Nettie, a beautiful, soulful 10-month-old house trained Black Labrador Retriever mix. Although Nettie currently does not live with dogs, she would probably do well in a home with other pets as she is very playful with the dogs she encounters. She does not share a home with children, but is very friendly with them and likes to be petted.

Nettie can be left alone in the house while you're out and about running your errands because she just likes to chill, which means you can relax knowing that she is fine alone in the house.

Nettie is still a pup, and is learning the way of the leash. She walks fine on a leash, and will pull when distracted, but is easily corrected. She is working on her basic commands and already knows to come and to sit, and she is working on stay. Nettie is so smart she will soon be trained in no time. She also loves to go on walks and play with her toys but will also lay on the couch while you are working or relaxing at home.

Nettie is very loving and relaxed inside her apartment. She likes to chill out on the couch most of the time and will make a great Netflix pal. She loves to be close to you and cuddle, and will also lick to show affection. She enjoys meeting new people and is happy to be petted by them. She is very kind and considerate towards strangers.

An ideal home for her would be with someone who is willing to take her out exploring and on adventures. She is very easy going and would do well in either an apartment or home. She is a very mellow girl and is happy just to chill and watch Netflix with you on the couch. A home with children and other pets would be fine as she is young enough to be adaptable to most situations.

Do you have room on your couch and a place in your heart for the winsome young Nettie? Come meet this sweet lass today!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
