Oh boy, have we got the perfect dog for you! Big Tuna is a mature senior with years of training under his belt! He hails from the great state of Florida, where he spent his middle age learning the basics and his manners. Even when Big T has a trail of sniffs to follow, he'll immediately turn back to you when you cue 'leave it.' His polished skills make everything about this pup easy to handle. He loves food and will perform every single thing he knows for a simple treat. 'Park it' is another favorite where he'll circle up to sit between your legs to avoid any scary things like off leash dogs rushing up to him.

Big Tuna has a long history in the shelter system, but he knows that's all behind him. With a routine and some treats, Big Tuna is a perfect companion. He'll wait patiently on 'place' for the cue to start eating and come when called every single time.

At nearly 11, he's more than content to enjoy a soft bed or a cool floor - he's an easy boy. He does love walks - he just doesn't need to go that far. A trip around the block, a ride in the car with the wind blowing through his ears, a soft bed to spend his retirement on - these are the small things that Big Tuna enjoys in life.

His greatest gift to humanity may be his loud, unapologetic bulldog snores. Big T would ideally thrive in a home with teens or older where he is the sole pup.

Thanks to Big Tuna's previous shelter, his adopter will get a supply of his food, senior dog supplements and a soft bed, not to mention the lifetime support of the behavior team! Come meet Big Tuna, he's waiting to show off his amazing skills!
