If you're looking for a quiet companion to relax outside with, Clarinet is your girl! This playful lady is looking for her furever human companion, and she loves to explore and sniff around her foster's yard -- and chase squirrels. Then she'll rub the side of her face on the grass and flop over to squirm around on her back to scratch it -- it's adorable.

Clarinet is a young girl who's becoming more comfortable with her new human friends. She came to her foster home as a pup who was timid with people, and she is still fearful, still not wanting to be touched. But she will touch her foster with her nose and take treats gently from her hand while making eye contact. And she answers to firm commands. She likes to hang out with her foster mom and watch her work. She adores her squeaky red ball and likes to chew her rope toys, and loves getting treats and kibble out of her Kong. And she's very playful on the sofa.

This sweet girl is well behaved on leash walks around the neighborhood and has learned the following words -- walk, come, inside, outside, and no. When she sees her leash picked up, she'll prance about going outside, and she's enjoying backyard walks, looking up at her human companion and sniffing her and just mildly reacting to dogs she sees. She also settles down quickly to visitors who come to the house, paying no attention to them. And she is house-trained, with very few accidents. She's been left alone for three to four hours and behaved very well.

She is well on her way to learning that life with loving, caring, kind people is a wonderful thing. She will likely do best as the only dog in a home with patient adults who can continue helping her confidence grow. She's on her way to a new and better life. Come give Clarinet the love she deserves and follow her on Instagram @clarinet94673apa!
