Keaton is such a happy-go-lucky puppy. Now in foster care with his siblings, this playful, prancing boy is having such fun playing with his doggie housemates, visiting kids and even the fluffy cat. He especially loves splashing in water, and he'll even bring his people the hose to help them fill buckets so he can slosh in them.

This sweet young boy is blind, but even with his impaired vision, he's enjoying his new life. He came from a hoarding situation where he lived with many other dogs. He liked all of them and gets along nicely with his siblings and all new pups he meets now. He's also Mr. Meet-and-Greet with new people he meets and has settled in his new foster home. He's happy to chill out next to his fosters to watch TV or take a nap. He's having fun with a 2-year-old grandchild at home and older kids who come visit. And he nicely sniffs his kitty housemate.

Keaton is working on his leash walking, staying next to his human companion. At home, he's learning what "no," "jump" and "sit" mean. He's already house-trained, going to the door, and whining to go out. And he's happy to snooze on his dog bed and does well napping with a chew toy in his kennel while his people are away.

This lively boy will do well in a home with many households, including a family with kids. And he will love a canine companion. His vision may be impaired, but he loves the world he hears, smells and tastes. Come meet him. He may not see you, but he'll love you.

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
