Bagheera is ready to be a tail-wagging best friend for every new human he meets! This very friendly, sweet boy wants all their attention, his tail wagging when he hears his name called and even when he's half asleep. He loves to cuddle and give them so many kisses.

This playful boy can have fun playing with the garden hose, going after the water, and chewing on toys until only tiny pieces are left. He also has fun going on car rides and walks, is beginning to learn about leash walking and doing well with a gentle leader. This curious boy enjoys gazing out the window at those squirrels and birds he sees. Then he's back to kissing his people. He's wanted to meet other dogs he sees on walks. And he's a house-trained quiet boy who is happy in his crate and does well when his people are away.

Bagheera is an obedient boy who would be happy as the only pet in a home and hopes to move in with an active parent who can take him for walks. He is having surgery at APA! to have his eye out and should be good as new after that! He is also heartworm positive, but all that means is that he'll need a couple of months of rest during treatment, at APA!'s expense. Come meet this lovable boy. He'll want to become your teddy bear!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
