Tiger is a quiet, shy young boy who's just now learning that humans can be the source of comfort, love - and treats! He has been fearful of people, hiding from strangers and retreating from them. But he loves treats and has discovered that if he lets people give him gentle petting and head scratches, he can munch their treats. Wow!

Now in foster care, this laidback dude has been behaving perfectly with his new humans and their dog and cat. He has settled nicely with his new dog buddy. They nap together on the couch, snooze in bed and get along well. He pays little attention to their cat, just occasionally curious and interested in her.

He's an awesome leash walker, following his fosters well without tugging, and he isn't reactive to other dogs he sees. At home, Tiger is house-trained, going to the back door when he needs to go out. He has some separation anxiety that makes him inconsistent in his crate. He may be calm there all night, or he may insist on escaping to be with his people. He is on medication to help overcome his anxiety.

Tiger will do well in a quiet home with parents who can give him a slow introduction to his surroundings and continue his education on what it means to be part of a family. And he will benefit from a laidback doggie companion who can show him the ropes and help him feel safe. Come meet him. Bring him some treats and he'll befriend you right away!
