To Kessie, the world is full of exciting things to watch and chase. For example, squirrels! She has great fun being outside and chasing squirrels. She's a silly girl who does zoomies when she's excited. Then she calms down and becomes a great cuddle buddy for her humans. She loves to keep them company while they're working from home.

Now in foster care, this very curious, active girl loves going on long walks and hikes, pulling on her leash when she sees those silly squirrels. To her, some things go from being exciting to being worrisome. She thinks deer are scary and she pulls away when seeing them. And being surrounded by loud people and big groups of people and kids can be a bit much, but she is trying her best to adapt. So, she's happy to be back home, playing fetch and running after balls. She also loves toys, but chews them up.

She's an affectionate, gentle girl who wants to be with her people and get their petting. And she's also happy for some alone time, snoozing. She's very food-motivated, so she's making good progress on learning to obey "sit" and on her house-training. She doesn't volunteer to go in her crate, but once in it, she does fine.

Kessie will love a calm home with parents who are with her a lot and can take her on those two walks and hikes a day to explore the outdoors. Come meet her. She'll want to be your sidekick
-- and your cuddle bunny.
