If you would like to meet a specialist who can show you how best to relax, Howard is your expert. He's always glad to see his people. He'll get up to greet them when they come home or downstairs, and he'll enjoy getting their head and ear scratches. And that's about all he ever asks for. He's the ultimate couch potato who loves lounging on his dog beds, going from one to another.

If he's not snoozing on his bed, this confident, gentle boy has gone out the dog door and is sunning himself in his foster family's backyard. And he is really excited to go on his daily walks. When anyone goes out the front door, he jumps up, assuming he's about to go on a walk. He walks well on his leash, doing little pulling. He may woof at another dog he sees, but nothing more than that. And at home he and his small doggie housemate pay little attention to each other.

He's a very well-behaved, respectful boy who's never chewed or destroyed anything. He's welcoming to visitors and other dogs he's met. And he's a house-trained boy who nicely roams the house when his fosters are away. He's been left alone for up to eight hours.

This easy-going boy should fit well in most homes, enjoying his walks, being friendly with other dogs and doing well whether his people are home or not. Come meet him. He'll promise you he'll follow you home and be so easy to take care of!
