True to her name, Marshmallow is a sweet, fun-loving girl who promises she will love you with her whole heart. She'll want to stay by your side forever. Now in foster care, she wants affection and attention and loves snuggling with her new people. This playful lady also loves playing fetch with tennis balls and toys and playing tug-o-war with those balls. Then she's happy with peanut butter Kongs and doggie cheese whiz.

When meeting people, she can be a bit wary of men, but soon warms up to them. She's friendly and curious with other dogs she meets and was very friendly and excited to meet a cat, her tail wagging. She enjoys going for walks, always looking up to make sure her fosters are still with her. She can pull when squirrels distract her, but is easily refocused, smelling everything and finding what's hidden in the grass. And she also loves rolling around in the grass - how adorable!

This gentle girl is eager to please and is working on her clicker training, already understanding "sit" and learning about "stay." She's very happy to be rewarded with petting and belly rubs and obeys when asked to get off furniture or leave a room. She may beg for food, but doesn't try to steal it. She is house-trained, letting it be known when she needs to go outside. She is now willing to sleep in her crate overnight with the door open. She has some anxiety, especially when home alone, so she is on medication. She is also being treated for a tail injury and has surgery coming up for a recurring facial mass.

Marshmallow will love adopters who are very affectionate and happy to spend time playing with her in the yard. She would also benefit from patient parents who can continue her training and help her overcome her separation anxiety. And she may do well with other playful pets. Come meet her. She'll want to be your lover for life!
