If you're looking for a buddy to watch bad movies with you, Miguel is your boy! He can also be your party goer. This sweet guy is always excited to see his humans and loves hanging out with them. He'll even take a shower with you. And he'll be happy to greet your visiting friends.

Miguel has lived with up to 15 other dogs at his foster home and has gotten along well with all of them. He also loves all their kids from 5- to over 12-years-old. He thinks they're so cool and wants to be around them as much as he can. And he's shared a small space with two cats who show him the lay of the land. He's done great with them, too.

He came to foster recovering from a broken leg and is still healing, so he's on light duty for a while. He hasn't worked on his leash training yet. And while he enjoys going with his humans to parks and watching others play in the water, he can't join them yet. He has to wonder "Why can't I play?" At home, he's a quick learner who understands "sit" and takes his food gently. He's also making good progress on his house-training, learning outside is where to go. And he calms down fairly quickly in his crate, doing best with another dog or a cat when his people are away.

He's an easy keeper who hopes to be part of a family he can join for birthdays, parties and all other events. He will love a yard and sibling dogs and cats to mingle and play with when his people are away. Come invite him to shower with you and he'll follow you home!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
