If you are looking for a hiking partner, come meet Hank! This active young boy really enjoys his walks, and is excited when they begin, and almost a perfect leash walker within a few minutes. And he's about to become his foster's running buddy.

This big, lovable boy is also a people kisser who always wants their petting. He's a good companion in cars, putting his front paws on the console to watch where he's going. Then he'll lean toward his foster to get his head scratched. At home, he's polite with his older female dog buddy, wanting to play with her. The 5-year-old kid likes Hank; he just doesn't want so many of his kisses. And he's interested in their cat, happy to snooze on his back in the same room with her. He's a house-trained boy who's not a fan of his soft crate, but easily goes in for his food and treats.

This eager-to-please boy will love a companion who can take him on those sunny walks and runs. He is heartworm positive, but all that means is that he'll need a couple of months of rest during treatment, at APA!'s expense. Come meet him. He'll be your outdoor dream boy!
