If you would like a cowgirl who can mind your herd, come meet Shaylee. Now in a country foster home, this peppy puppy loves to go for rides to check on the cows, sitting by her fosters and pointing out that one is a new calf. Then she'll want to hop out and splash in the stock tank.
She wants to be everyone's favorite pup, riding on the tractor with them and in the car's front seat. And recently families with kids came for a rodeo and she went everywhere with them, loving it.

This lively girl is living with three other foster pups and the fosters' six dogs. She loves to play with all of them. Her foster takes her everywhere, including meet-and-greets, dog parks and stores dogs can enter, and she's been friendly to all dogs she sees, wanting to play with them. She's also been good with their 2-year-old grandson and visiting junior high kids. They spoiled her and she loved it. And she's living with three cats, making sure they're okay. At home, she's great in her crate and her pen, quietly doing well when her fosters are away. And she's already house-trained.

She will love to be your first and favorite puppy, fitting in with an active parent or a family who can introduce her to new people and dogs. She'll want to go travel with them - and take naps with them, too. Come offer this girl a pony ride and she'll follow you to the ranch!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
