Farah has a plan for her perfect day. It involves bursts of playing, chewing her toys and running and exploring outdoors. Then she'll climb into your lap to take a long nap. And she'll love to cuddle with you and have her belly rubbed - she's so excited about that.

Now in foster care, this playful puppy is having fun with their 6-year-old Catahoula lab mix. She gives him space when he doesn't want to play. She also likes playing with their 7- and 11-year-old kids, patient and is gentle with them. She's making progress on so much, including her leash walking. She wants to explore everything, so may pull, but responds to gentle redirection. She's a smart, attentive girl who's learning what she is and isn't allowed to chew. And she's making good progress on her house-training and crate-training. She'll settle in her crate and sleep or chew her toys while her fosters are away.

Farah will love a home with someone who is there a lot and happy to play and cuddle with her and take her on daily walks. She will do well with kids, and will be happy with or without another dog. She loves playing with canine friends, but is also content to just be with her human. Come meet her. She's ready to become your sweet, smart, beloved family member.

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
