Timber is a very sweet, affectionate puppy who's already learned how wonderful it is to get affection from her new human friends. She loves it, and especially when it includes getting cuddles. A curious girl, she's very interested in all people (and some dogs) and is gentle with them, so happy to receive their love --- and cuddles. Now in foster care, she loves to rest her head on her fosters, closing her eyes when she gets head scratches and neck and belly rubs.

This affectionate, spirited girl has recovered from surgery for a broken left hind leg, and she is doing exceptionally well. Her stitches have been removed, and she no longer has major pain. She can now take short walks with full weight on her leg, and she's going for car rides and trips to parks. Very smart, she's learning about leash walking and is working on her potty training.

She is a shy, but playful pup who is becoming very lively now that her leg has healed. This gentle, loving girl is sharing her foster home with three small older male dogs and is getting along well with them. She also has a female doggie housemate, but they aren't friends yet, so are separated. And she hasn't interacted with the cats. She sleeps through the night in her crate, gets up early for a potty break and then goes back to rest and chew a frozen Kong. She does want to be with her foster family, so may whine if they're not in the same room.

She will soon be ready to find her forever home. She will do well with a single person, a couple or a family with children 8 years old or older. She would also love patient parents who can continue her training and give her attention and exercise. Come meet this adorable, goofy girl.

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
