Lenny is definitely a people lover! He will want to be as close as possible to you, always watching you and waiting for your attention. He'll be very excited to see you come home, gently jumping up to give you kisses, hoping for your petting and rolling over for belly scratches. Then he'll try to cuddle and sleep right next to you, his head next to yours. And he'll even trust you to brush and bathe him, things he doesn't much enjoy.

Now in foster care, this sweet boy is great with their 4-year-old French bulldog, gentle and cautious with her and letting her win games. He's also been gentle and calm with a visiting 9-year-old boy after first jumping up to greet him. He's a very good, compliant leash walker, barely tugging, and he leads his foster back home.

He likes to lounge around at home and really loves chewing bones. He also enjoys sniffing around outdoors, looking for interesting things. Indoors, he always wants to be on the couch with his people. He's a smart boy and a quick learner who is house-trained and is working on his obedience skills. With his love for his people, he can become anxious when home alone, escaping his kennel and chewing too much. So, he is undergoing training to help build his confidence.

Lenny hopes for a home with people who are almost always in his company. He needs a parent who can continue building his home-alone confidence, possibly by giving him a large room to relax in with lots of bones to chew. He'll also love plenty of outdoor space to walk and run in, and will do well with kids and dog buddies (who don't compete for his bones). Come meet him. He'll give you a snuggle and follow you home.

Come meet your new best friend
