Waylon is living a new life that is so much better. He came from a home where he and five other dogs were being neglected and possibly abused. Now he's in foster care where he's learning what it's like to be a loved pup, and he's coming out of his shell - oh, boy! Dog buddies and kids to play with, he's so happy.

He's finding out that it's also fun to learn things. Waiting patiently for treats, he now understands "sit" and "stay." He's also learning to not grab food off the table, and is working on his house-training, letting it be known when he needs to go outside. He also does well in his crate when his fosters are away.

Come meet this sweet boy. He'll want to go home with you!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
