Phillip DeVille is such a people lover! This cuddly boy will quietly follow you everywhere you go, curious about what you're doing and wanting to sit in your lap as much as possible. Then he'll put his dainty paw on you to let you know he wants to play.

This sweet puppy can be hesitant when first meeting new people, but he quickly warms up to them, gives them kisses and wants to play with them. Now in foster care, he's enjoying cozy beds and sitting in his foster's lap. He loves to hang out with his people, but he's also a confident and independent boy that can play on his own. He's learned that his crate is a comfy place, so he goes in there for naps, and is quiet and comfortable in there while his foster is gone. He is making progress on learning to understand "sit," "down, shake," and potty training, motivated by his favorite treat - chicken!! He has also already mastered the art of hunting crickets, and prides himself on rescuing his foster family from them.

Phillip would love a home with parents who want a little buddy who follows them around and sits in their laps and one with lots of cozy spots to snooze in. He would enjoy a dog buddy who can teach him how to play and have fun, but he would also fit into a home with no other dogs. Meet him today! Offer him a comfy bed and a piece of chicken and he'll follow you home! .

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
