Introducing Connie, a sweet, striking, 3-month-old German Shepherd mix. Connie loves to shadow her foster around the house, and she also loves a belly rub. She is also getting pretty good at rolling over due to her belly rub love!

Connie loves hopping around showing off her bone when she first receives it! She's also a super curious puppy, and loves just watching you do your thing. She is working on her house-training skills and has started to understand potty outside when the humans are home, but like any puppy, she has the occasional accident. Connie is also working on crate training and is at the beginning stage. Connie is so smart she should be housetrained and crate trained in no time. She is also learning sit and down, and will be working on others soon!

Connie is respectful of her environment. Like a puppy, she is in her mouthing/chewing mode with some objects in the house. It's pretty easy to redirect her and she loves investigating new things in the house.

Connie is polite and respectful when meeting other humans. She is definitely a curious, and playful puppy! She is a little silly with tug games, and very play oriented. She loves playing around with her humans, as well as taking a well-deserved nap with them afterwards! She enjoys chewing on her bones and other toys!

Connie is easygoing and would fit well with most homes. She is young enough to adapt to any situation. She lives in a foster home with another dog but she hasn't shown much interest in it. Still a puppy, she needs someone to follow through on her training as she grows up. She enjoys the attention of her foster, so sweet Connie would love the attention of having people around a lot.

Are you looking for an adorable, playful pup who will grow up to become a great dog? Come meet Connie today!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
