Tibby is a gentle, curious young girl who's beginning to show her playful side. Now in foster care, she wants to be around her new human friends, getting their petting and so happy to also get their praise. She's also happy to be with their 10-year-old Border Collie, roaming the backyard with her and napping indoors. And she's curious about their cat, and is very nice when it rubs up against her.

She's a very well-behaved girl who does not jump and barks very little. She has just begun to vocalize when she's excited, giving a high-five paw and a deep ah-oooo. A smart girl, she catches on quickly and is very trainable. She probably will love to go on walks soon, but came to foster being skittish of leashes. Now in a harness, she's beginning to get acquainted with leash walking in the house and backyard, learning that it's fun.

She's house-trained, letting her fosters know when she first moved in that she knows to go outside. And she does well when her fosters are away, just waiting by the front door for them to return. She doesn't like crates, but nicely freely roams the house and yard.

Tibby was born and lived in a field, but she'll do well in a city or suburb freely roaming the house and yard. She's lived well with a dog buddy and a cat. She just prefers to be the dominant one. Come meet her - give her some praise and she'll follow you home.
