If you're looking for a loyal, devoted companion, Cletus is your guy. Cletus and Carli were found in an abandoned house and were 1 day away from euthanasia when APA! rescued them. This good boy was well taken care of and much loved in his former life and is healthy. He trusts humans and loves to be petted. The highlight of his day is to snuggle up close to you on the sofa.

Cletus is looking for a loving home most of all. He would rather have your pets than eat his food-affection is that important to him. If there is a perfect pup, Cletus is close to it. He is totally housetrained-never an accident and doesn't bark. During July 4th fireworks and thunderstorms, Cletus remained calm as a cucumber. He tries hard to follow your commands and do what you ask-even when your request is to not pee on your fig tree outside! Cletus is a bit shy-his companion Carli rules. But he will gain confidence if you give him a chance.

Cletus does fine when alone during the day-it gives him time to get his beauty sleep. He also is a great sleeper during the night. He is heartworm positive, but all that means is that he will need a few months rest at APA!'s expense, and then he will be as good as new!

Are you Cletus' forever human? He may be the devoted, loyal companion that you've searched for. Let's get acquainted!
