Dundee is such a people lover. This super sweet boy adores people and has never met a stranger. When he's on walks and sees new humans, he wants to bound toward them, his tail wagging and wagging. He wants to say hi! He immediately trusts them and wants to please them.

Now in foster care, he enjoys his leash walks and usually walks slowly, taking sniffing breaks and cautiously looking around. He may get excited and bounce toward those new human friends he sees. He's gone past a cat, and didn't even notice it. However, he is a fraidy cat with the dogs he sees. He came to the shelter with a foot injury and face lacerations that appeared to be from a dog attack. In foster, he will be introduced to their resident pup and given time and care to build his confidence that their dog is also his friend.

At home, he makes a perfect balance between being a couch potato and a playmate. He's having great fun with his fosters' teenagers, and he may get along well with younger children, although he can get excited and be a bit jumpy. He wants to be near his people, but is happy to leave them alone if they're busy. He's not needy for attention, calm and happy to take naps and chew and play with toys. He is beginning training, already coming when called and understanding that "uh uh" means he should stop jumping. He's also house-trained, sleeping nicely overnight. And he has done well when left home alone.

Dundee should fit well in most homes with a family who wants a pup who's playful and also wants some quiet rest time. He may do best as the only pet, but given enough time to stay safely separated while they become well acquainted and his confidence builds, he may do well with a dog buddy. Come meet this adorable boy!
