Dunkin is a young boy who's already such a people lover. He can be shy when first meeting people, especially men, but given some time (and treats), he warms up to them. He's even quicker to warm up to gentle, older kids. Then he'll want your petting. He loves being touched and wiggles and leans in when you talk to him and give him rubdowns. Massage his hind end and he'll roll his head around to kiss you.

This easy-going boy is in foster care, where he's having fun romping in the yard. He loves their teenagers and their friends, a little shy when first meeting them and now happy to play or just be near them. He's still an insecure puppy who can be startled by things and wants to always be with his people, following them everywhere, but his confidence is improving. He's enjoying leash walks, just pulling a little, but not hard and correcting pretty well. At home, he likes his chew toys - and treats! He dances for them.

He's a smart boy who is very trainable. He already understands "sit" and is learning to "come" and "lay down. He's also working on his potty training, and he likes his crate, just still whining if left alone there. He's an adorable boy and a total love bug. Come meet him!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
