If you come to meet Dandelion, this dubious lady may ask to see your ID to make sure you're trustworthy. But it just takes her a minute to decide that you're actually lovable. Next time you come home to her, she'll do such a happy dance with little hops and her tail wagging all over. So excited to see you!

Dandi is shy and timid when meeting new people, but now in foster care, she's learning that human friends are quite nice. She always wants to be in the same room with her foster dad, hanging out on a nearby couch. She's also happy to lounge in the shade outdoors and roll around in the grass, then go for short leash walks. She had come to APA! very malnourished and somewhat lethargic. Now her health is improving and her energy is picking up. She's enjoying more activity and learning to enjoy cuddles.

This sweet, gentle girl is getting along well with her foster's Corgi pup, and she perks up when she sees dogs outside. She is about 90% house-trained, knowing she needs to go outdoors. She can be nicely left alone free in the house for a couple of hours. If alone longer, she does well in her crate. She's making more progress on her training.

Dandi is an easygoing sweetheart who will love to move in with a family who can give her a lot of attention while she settles into her new home. She'll soon require only a nice couch to stretch out on, and a daily walk. She is heartworm positive, but all that means is that she'll need a couple of months of rest during treatment, at APA!'s expense. Come meet her. Bring your ID and she'll trust you right away.
Come meet your new best friend
