Bobbie Nelson is a shy girl who's actually become low-key famous on Facebook and in the news media. That's because she was rescued by the famous Willie Nelson's family. She was owned by the founder of Austin Music Hall and other live music venues in Austin who passed away in late July. Willie Nelson's daughters took in Bobbie, and Willie himself has posted her story on his Facebook page. They and a trapping, rescue, pet recovery service have joined with APA! to find her a new home.

Now in foster care, Bobbie is as gentle as a butterfly. She eats treats from her foster mom's hands. She's getting along nicely with her foster's 11-year-old beagle and 1-year-old German shepherd. And she's a house-trained girl who is quiet and well-behaved when her foster is away. She has lived through some sad times and is fearful of human strangers, so she's now recalling what it's like to be a safe, secure pup.

She will love to move in with new patient parents who can give her unconditional love and help build up her confidence again. Come meet this famous lady. She'll sing you a Willie song!
