Billy is a young pup who's now learning that these human critters he meets are actually pretty nice. For the first time, he's moved in with some of them and has decided that, hey, they can be trusted. So now he definitely wants their attention - and their petting. He wants to stay right by them, pawing their arms for those pets.

This puppy has been wary of new people. But now in foster care, he's becoming comfortable and loyal to them. He's very curious about his new surroundings and showing signs that he's becoming braver and more playful. He likes going on walks, and when his leash is attached, he rolls over and asks for a belly rub. He's a new leash walker and already is doing it very well, never pulling and staying close. He's becoming more comfortable at seeing other dogs and he'll sometimes try to sniff new people.

At home, Billy likes chewing toys (especially ones he can tear up) and then he loves to sprawl out and snooze. He already listens well to "no." He is making very good progress on his house-training. And he nicely settles in his crate, spending the night and doing well when his fosters are away.

Billy will love a home with patient parents who can continue socializing him with people and dogs. He's already made good progress in coming out of his shell. Come meet him. He'll give you a sniff and ask for a belly rub! And you can see more about him on Instagram: @poquito_pups.
Come meet your new best friend
