Moose is such a toy lover! If he hears you say "Go get your toy!" he gets so excited. He knows that means you're about to play tug-o-war with him. This goofy, playful boy loves to play with toys, especially stuffed ones, and has such fun playing chase and tug-o-war.

Now in foster care, this big boy also loves to lean on his humans and get their petting. He may be too big and bouncy to play with small dogs, so he's only interacting with the foster's two bigger dogs and has been doing well with them. He also loves her 15-year-old daughter, and is very playful and affectionate with her. Like many canines, he would be a kitty chaser, so he doesn't meet up with her cats.

An outgoing, confident boy, he meets up with new people easily. He's making very good progress on learning to leash walk properly, with less strong pulling. He understands "sit" and is working on "stay." He's also learning to not hop up on people. He's house-trained, and if he wants to mark his territory, he obeys "no." And he does well in his crate, settling down easily and doing well when his people are away. He has an enlarged salivary gland that is being medically assessed.

Moose will love to move in with parents who are home a lot and are experienced with training big, strong pups. He really wants to learn everything, so is making good progress. He should also enjoy an equally big and friendly female dog housemate and a house with no felines! Come meet him. Show him a toy and he'll run home with you!
