Mac is a sweet, lively boy who's learning what it's like to live in a roomy house with a yard - and he loves it! He is one of 31 Chihuahuas rescued from a trailer. Now he's in a foster home where he can do zoomies around the house, explore the yard outside and learn about going for walks. He has a plushie toy that he can throw, chase and chew. And all day, he approaches his new humans for petting and cuddles, and gives them kisses. He's so happy!

This playful, curious boy can be a bit cautious when first meeting people, but he sniffs them, lets them pet him and soon loves and trusts them. He's sharing the foster home with a doggie housemate, giving her kisses, playing and taking cues from her on how to behave. Then he seeks his foster parents for petting and scratches, cuddling on the couch with them and taking naps. He's also met an 8-year-old girl. He was shy, but curious and gentle, giving her kisses and letting her pet him.

He enjoys going outdoors and is quickly learning to walk on a leash. At home, he's a food-motivated boy who's learning to obey commands. He's also making progress on his house-training, and he sleeps all night soundly in his crate, doing well there when his fosters are away.

Mac can be unique because he loves his people, but he also can be independent and entertain himself. An easygoing boy, he will fit well in most homes with parents who can continue building his trust and slowly training him. He also will like a doggie playmate and soon may love to go on adventures. Come meet this lovable boy!
