In this case, SO TRUE! But first, lets rewind a little...
This story begins with 14 cats from Del Valle, dropped off at TLAC by a man that claimed he was moving and could no longer care for them. Mark, an APA foster, quickly stepped in to take care of and foster two of the cats — Evey (a one-year-old black, short hair domestic) and Rorschach (a one-year-old male tuxedo).
According to Mark, Rorschach was immediately social and loveable, and Evey definitely had her wits about her, but was a bit standoffish. Naturally, Mark assumed she was just adjusting to a new and unfamiliar environment, but Evey’s true secret was about to be revealed.
Two days later, Mark arrived home from work to see Evey’s little (okay, BIG) secret in the flesh. Evey gave birth to three adorable kittens on the floor of his closet! Poor girl. (What cat wouldn’t be a bit standoffish when she's about to give birth, right? Where's the privacy curtain?) Luckily, Evey quickly returned to her sweet self and proved to be a surprisingly adept young mother, welcoming her babies into the world with kisses and care. These little wonders turned a family of two into family of five — literally overnight!
Today, we’re happy to introduce you to Rorschach, Evey and her 12-week-old babies, Baghera (male), Barney (male) and Fozzy (female). They are fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and just as playful, loving and cute as can be. Take a look for yourself!
Rorschach has been adopted, but the other four are looking for their forever homes. Please email us at [email protected] for more information.
