We're thrilled to announce a new guest presenter at our second American Pets Alive No-Kill Conference, which is taking place in Austin Feb. 25-27, 2012. Michael Kitkoski from Rockwall Pets will be joining us and sharing a case study from his group's success in North Texas.
Rockwall Pets has helped bring the city shelters save from from 46 percent in 2008 to an astounding 96 percent in November 2011.
The group also pushed for Rockwall City Council to make the open-admission municipal shelter a No Kill facility by mandating a "live outcome" rate of 90% or better in August 2011.
We cannot wait to hear Michael's firsthand experience in helping Rockwall reach no-kill when he joins us in February. More details about our 2012 conference are included below for your reference. We hope to see you there!
