Update 5/27: Angel Sara is going into surgery with Dr. Vasanjee on Monday (5/30/11). The doctor says we have a 75% chance of a successful surgery. We will let you know how it went as soon as we hear something!
Angel Sara is like the best friend we all want! She is a genuinely nice dog who gets along well with everyone. A true Angel. She loves life and doesn't take a single day for granted. But Angel Sara needs your help to continue to live each day to the fullest.
Angel Sara has a heart murmur and will need surgery to fix it. It's a deformity and is pretty intense surgery. We have an interested adopter who wants to foster her through the surgery too, but we need to raise the funds for her surgery and get her heart fixed first! She's friendly with everyone (humans, dogs, cats). Sara just wants to be near her people. She's really mellow and is happy as long as she's by your side. She's gentle with her toys and basically just wants to be loved. Plus her ears are really soft! Her condition is heartbreaking because otherwise, she's a perfect dog! According to her medical records, if she gets this surgery, she will love a long and healthy life.
