The Animal Advisory Commission, who has been mandated by City Council to work with the city to develop programs and policies based on their recommendations, is having the first of several critical meetings on Wednesday, November 18 at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Austin Energy Building, 721 Barton Springs Road, First Floor Assembly Room.
Attendance of the public is very important as this meeting will set the stage for implementing the City Council's recently passed resolution. More specifically, the AAC will be meeting to create the framework for how it will work with the city staff on developing the plan to move Austin toward "NO KILL".
Citizen Communication allows up to 10 individuals to speak at the beginning of the meeting. If you would like to speak at this time, you will need to fill out a blue card when you arrive----(before the meeting starts).
Please feel free to invite your family, friends and neighbors to attend this important meeting to keep the "NO KILL" momentum moving forward!
